This procedure describes how to create an Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) instance to provide the resources you need for your applications. You will specify the CPU, memory, storage, and networking capacity mix right for you.
Steps to create an EC2 Instance :
Step 1: Log in to your AWS portal and navigate to the EC2 service.
Step 2: Navigate to "Instances" in the left menu and select "Launch Instance"
Step 3: Choose an Amazon Machine Image (AMI).
Step 4: Select the "Instance Type" you need.
Step 5: Click on "Next: Configure Instance Details" in the bottom right corner.
Step 6: Click "Next: Add Storage" to specify your storage requirements.
Step 7: Click "Next: Add tags" to specify key-value pairs.
Step 8: Click "Next: Configure Security Group"
Step 9: Click "Review and Launch" to review your settings.
Step 10: If this is your first AWS EC2 instance, create a new key-value pair.
Step 11: Check the status of your VM by clicking "Instances."
Step 12: Navigate to "Elastic IPs" and click "Allocate new address" to make the VM available.
